The association has had an active water quality testing program for many years. Volunteers take water samples from both lakes for  biological testing during the summer as well as sampling bottom plants  to note changes in plant life and watch for the emergence of any invasive species such as  Eurasian Watermilfoil (EWM). We engage a professional lake management company that provide a complete evaluation of both lakes every year.  This allows us to compare data year over year so we have a good picture of trends to help identify any areas of concern.  The water testing program continues throughout the year with volunteers and local water testing labs
